This place is lit! The property is absolutely stunning with jaw-dropping spaciousness, perfect for my multi-generational fam to spread out and come together. The BBQ hut and hot tub were out of this world - mind-blowing! We had a blast with all the board games and the welcome treats in the hamper were fire! We didn't have to contact anyone because everything was super perfect. Plus, the free Wi-Fi, free parking, electric kettle, dryer. And guess what? They even had a playpen for the little ones! Oh, did I mention that pets are allowed? And no smoking on site? Totally nailed it!

The Shambles was a delightfully decorated and cozy hotel, perfect for senior people like myself. The spacious common areas were beautifully furnished, making it easy for me to relax and socialize with other guests. The hotel's accessibility was impressive, with ramps and handrails in all the right places, ensuring my safety and ease of movement throughout my stay.

My only wish for a better vacation for senior people would be for the children working there to be a bit more attentive. Although they were friendly, there were times when I needed assistance and they seemed preoccupied.

The Shambles in Aviemore has truly upped the game when it comes to bathrooms! We were thrilled to find not one, not two, but a grand total of three bathrooms with both a bath and a shower. And to top it off, there's even a hot tub! It's like every trekker's dream come true!

Honestly, couldn't think of much to fault here. But if I had to nitpick, I'd say the only downside was that one of the bathrooms didn't have a window.

While the staff, who were very polite and helpful, did not offer activities specifically for seniors, I did find myself yearning for a more tailored experience that would cater to our needs and interests.

We had the BEST Christmas at this place! It was a massive house with plenty of room for our big family to spread out. There was even a separate space for everyone to come together and have a jolly good time. We loved the BBQ hut and the hot tub - they were absolutely amazing! And guess what? They even had a stash of board games and goodies waiting for us when we arrived. Plus, the location was so convenient - we were close to all the key spots and attractions. It couldn't have been better!
